Tayyib Ali is an 18 year old artist from Philadelphia, P.A. Music was instilled in him from a very young age. Ali began to hone his rap skills at the tender age of 10. He spent the majority of his teenage years perfecting his trade. For Ali a hobby quickly turned into a burning passion. He had the talent and drive to succeed.
Through focus and hard work some doors began to open for the young Ali. Performing in front of a sellout audience at the Kamikazz Festival in Greenwhich, Connecticut. Opening for the likes of Shwayze, Sam Adams, and Super Smash Bros. It all came full circle when Ali found himself on that same stage a year later. Only this time he was the headliner. Throughout his young career Ali has been influenced by a few artists. Many that have reached out and taken the young MC under their wing.
With creative lyrics, catchy vocals, and a variety of original beats Ali began to develop a following. Upon releasing his singles, “Kid Again”, “Sound Check”, “What My Father Told Me”, and “I Ain’t Scared” Ali’s fan base has stretched throughout the New England area. In early 2010 Tayyib started to build a dedicated team with a main objective of reaching the next level. He has developed a very young and passionate fan base. You can hear many of Ali’s tracks blaring from dorm windows and frat parties throughout New England.
Chris Young The Rapper is a performer, producer, and songwriter born on July 30th, 1989 in Norfolk,VA and by the age of 4 he moved to San Diego, CA where he was raised. Young’s love for music truly took off in a Camden, NJ basement during the winter of 2001. While his DJ uncle spun tracks by the likes of Run DMC, LL Cool J, Jay Z, and T.I., Young tried his hand at freestyle rapping for the first time. The rhymes flowed naturally and the rest is history.
After a semester at the University of Arizona as a Philosophy major, Young decided instead to pursue his musical calling. He caught a ride to Los Angeles during the summer of 2008 with the vision of launching his hip hop career. With no money or a place to stay, a determined Young began booking his own shows, making his presence felt almost immediately. In September 2008, Young opened for Shwayze and Cisco Adler at the Rialto Theatre, in Tucson, AZ. Adler was blown away by Young’s impressive rapping skills and took him on a cross country tour with Shwayze, Tabi Bonney, Mickey Avalon, and more.
He released his project, Mood Swing EP, as a free download in April 2009 to critical acclaim. In August of that same year, Young signed to Cisco Adler’s Bananabeat Records, becoming the label’s premier artist. In January 2010, he released his mixtape 619 with Adler producing the opening single, “Stadium Rap.” Repping San Diego’s area code, the mixtape reflects Young’s hometown pride and showcases his smooth flow and fast rhymes.
Young contributed four songs to music man Adler’s epic 23-track mixtape, SUPERCALIFORNIALIPSTICKSEXYMAGICDOPESHIT, collaborating with Cobra Starship in the process. He recently released his sophomore mixtape, Valuepack, full of clever lyrics and killer beats. Young has performed with a range of heavy hitters, from Kid Cudi and Mike Posner, to Ying Yang Twins and Three 6 Mafia.
