Imogen Heap is a Grammy nominated English singer and songwriter from Romford, Havering. Her musical style specializes in heavily produced and arranged singer-songwriter pop incorporating elements of rock, dance and electronica. Imogen is known for her work as part of Frou Frou and for her 2005 solo record Speak for Yourself, which she wrote, produced and mixed. In 2006, Heap was nominated for two Grammy Awards. She has produced three solo albums, the latest of which is 2009's Ellipse, which was an immediate North American chart success.
