About this show...
The Budos Band are an “Instrumental Staten-Island Afro-Soul” outfit recording on the Daptone Records label. The Budos Band has eleven to thirteen bodies on stage playing instrumental music that is self-described as “Afro-Soul.” Their music draws from Ethiopian music with a soul undercurrent, which then is “sprinkled with a little bit of sweet 60’s stuff on top”.
