The Mighty Pines
The Mighty Pines
The Mighty Pines are a fierce roots band making music inspired by the wide rivers and red-brick streets of St. Louis. For over four years they’ve been fashioning their distinctive heartland sound. The music is fresh: bluegrass meets acoustic soul and rock & roll. With their genre bending original songs the band bridges the gap between groove and grass, between country and funk, between blues and folk. The music can at one moment be raucous and at the next hushed, with soaring harmonies keeping it sweet through every song.

The Pines formed in 2012 and since have released three albums, played hundreds of live shows and shared bills with such renowned acts as Railroad Earth, Greensky Bluegrass, Sam Bush, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Fruition, and more in bars and concert halls across the country. This is a band that can rage a late night festival show or captivate an intimate listening room crowd. Their full length album Lonesome Blues establishes The Mighty Pines as a young, exciting force in grass-roots music, but there’s only way to truly experience this dynamic quartet: see them live.
Part & Parcel
Part & Parcel
Part & Parcel embodies a musical mixture of many styles and backgrounds, conceived locally amidst Denver’s booming music scene. Formed in the summer of 2016, these longtime friends decided to take their shared love of string music and cultivate it into a progressive, energy-fueled passion project. Part & Parcel’s dynamic sound blends elements of funk, punk, folk, rock and bluegrass. The band’s strong focus on blending songwriting and improvisation inspires a devoted and ever-growing fan base.

Although Part & Parcel possesses your classic bluegrass instrumentation, the band is impressively genre-fluid. Their defining feature is the fact that they draw such a diverse crowd. From funk and bluegrass to metal and punk, they play it all. Fans will find themselves tapping their toes to a fiddle tune one minute, then head banging to a righteous rock song the next. The dance floors at Part & Parcel shows are consistently packed, feet always stomping and booties shaking.
Timber!
Timber!
Timber!, a highly energetic bluegrass band from Boulder, CO, consists of Travis "Watermelon Hat Guy" on bass, Erik "Ginger McGee" Gustafson on guitar, Caitlin "Thanks, I like to play" Anderson on fiddle, and Chad "Sweet Hair" Martens on mandolin.

"We had nothing in common but the desire to play music, preferably in exchange for beer and whiskey. Oh and the fact that we all lived in Boulder."
-Caitlin Anderson

In the Spring of 2013, an unlikely trio decided to form a band. They were together at the Twisted Pine bluegrass pick and Travis Lawson stood with his bass and told Erik Gustafson, guitar player, that the best way to meet the ladies was to be in a band. And therefore the notion was born. Upon further discussion Travis suggested they add a fiddle player, and James agreed that "What's her face" could make a positive addition. Thus Caitlin Anderson, fiddle player, was invited to Timber!

While each member of Timber! had very different musical backgrounds, they found that they truly enjoyed the combination. Erik's songwriting and more jamgrassy history opened them to another style of song. Caitlin added a classical element, and tried to stop calling her fiddle a violin, and Travis brought pure style. They began performing around Boulder, mostly at BBQ venues, and built a strong repertoire.

However one thing was missing. A mandolin! Luckily, they convinced their friend Chad Martens to join the band, and then Timber! was five. With this combination of bass, guitar, banjo, mandolin, and fiddle, Timber! now plays everything from BBQ joints to breweries to beer festivals around the greater Boulder and Denver area. They have a propensity for fastass bluegrass and almost unnatural amounts of energy that will be sure to have you dancin' everywhere.
