Jack Cloonan Band
Jack Cloonan Band
Jack Cloonan grew up on the South side of Chicago where he learned the accordion and fiddle in second grade from his father and grandpa. By the time he was grown, he had a plethora of instruments in his repertoire including guitar, mandolin, piano, banjo, drums and bass. Upon moving to Colorado, Jack raised the bar and surrounded himself with some of the top players in the state. Jack created the Jack Cloonan Band so he could play with talented musicians from all over. His music has led him to travel internationally with the Bluegrass Journeyman and to bring the PARTY to some hometown throwdowns. He has been lucky enough to share the stage with bluegrass influencers such as Vince Herman, Bridget Law, Mimi Naja and Andy Goessling. Jack brought his background of Irish music and old episodes of Soul Train to create the fiddle and funk discograss sound that is Jack Cloonan Band.
Kind Hearted Strangers
Kind Hearted Strangers
With rich harmonies and colorful songwriting, Kind Hearted Strangers bring back a taste of American roots into the world of rock n' roll they fell in love with. Based in Boulder, CO - the Strangers feature songwriter/vocalist Marc Townes, percussionist/vocalist Brian Ireland of Something Corporate, bassist Marshall Carlson of Augustus, and guitarist Kevin Hinder of the funk/rock outfit Envy Alo, who’s skillful and dynamic embellishments add another unique layer to the band’s raw authentic sound.

"...the fiery, eclectic Kind Hearted Strangers stand high above their counterparts, evoking a loose jam-band charm with vibrant, pop-sensible folk that takes influence from the classics without spending too much time dwelling in the past.

With Townes' vibrant, engaging songwriting, Hinder's virtuosic and seemingly limitless range on guitar, and Ireland's drumming that keeps the song's contained while also stretching them to their limits, Kind Hearted Strangers' musical dexterity far exceeds their short time as a band. With a sound already so fully-formed and grounded, guessing where they're going next is an adventure unto itself." - Behind the Scene Press, 2017 (http://bit.ly/2hCzaRh)
Buffalo Commons
Buffalo Commons
Buffalo Commons is a collaboration of friends from Steamboat Springs, CO who enjoy fishing and floating rivers together as much as they do playing and writing songs together. The bond they share off stage comes across in the music, and is felt by everyone through the energy of their live performances. One can't help but be captivated by singer/songwriter and guitarist Ty Woods' soulful yet powerful voice. Band Members Colby Smith on mandolin, Fritz Boniface on dobro, Randy Kelly on fiddle, and Denton Turner on upright bass provide a full body of sound to match the emotion and intensity of Ty's vocals. Focused on writing original music with well thought out compositions and arrangements, the band works hard to stand out as a unique sound in acoustic music. Buffalo Commons' songs will pull at your heartstrings in every way and may make you want to laugh, dance, cry, and rejoice all in one show.
