Chrome Sparks
Chrome Sparks
Chrome Sparks, born Jeremy Malvin, grew up in Pittsburgh and spent formative time in Ann Arbor before settling east in Brooklyn and converting a legion of supporters to his deftly hybridized sound, including Pitchfork, Dancing Astronaut, Indie Shuffle, and FADER. He released his self-titled debut with Counter (a Ninja Tune imprint) in Spring 2018, hitting #1 on the Apple Electronic chart, supported across Spotify playlists and receiving heavy airplay from Lauren Laverne on BBC 6 Music. The video for album single ‘O, My Perfection’ was shared with giphy stickers that have become a viral hit with 80m views. Since the record came out, he’s played at a one-off, special performance with Diplo at the Mad Decent Block Party in Pakistan and performed live for an Adult Swim FishCenter session. He’s also made his own Splice pack, where producers can download samples he’s created.

Chrome Sparks first burst into electronic music consciousness in 2012 with "Marijuana," a Bandcamp compilation track turned Internet phenomenon (organically rocketing to #1 on HypeMachine and racking up over 30 million cumulative streams to date). Since then he's released three EPs via Future Classic (including subsequent breakthrough track "Moonraker"), remixed London Grammar, Chet Faker, Porter Robinson, Fred Falke and Blackbird Blackbird among others, and played sold out shows throughout North America, Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

Inspired by a background in classical percussion and an obsession with synthesizers, Malvin creates dazed, melodic beat-centric tunes that loosely hang between down-tempo head nodders and up-tempo club bangers. FADER has described his music as 'form-shifting beats [that] seem to resonate with spaced-out chillers and hyperactive party kids alike.'

In 2012, while on Warped Tour as the drummer for Stepdad, Malvin released the slow burning, bass heavy single "Marijuana" on a Bandcamp compilation highlighting music from he and his friends in Ann Arbor. It quickly rocketed to #1 on Hype Machine and has since become an internet-stoner anthem. It has subsequently been rereleased by Future Classic and Kitsuné.

His upcoming release, Parallelism, was made using sounds from three analog synthesizers, vocal samples from friends, and a tambourine.
Kalbells
Kalbells
Kalbells is the solo work of Kalmia Traver, lead singer of Rubblebucket.
Lip Talk
Lip Talk
LIP TALK is the project and alternate identity of frontwoman Sarah K. Pedinotti, and D A Y S is her debut album. Throughout, Pedinotti’s production mixes singsong simplicity with ambitious art rock, charming and challenging her audience in equal measure. The past couple years have found Pedinotti performing with musicians as diverse as Okkervil
River, avant-pop band Kalbells, and R&B artist Cautious Clay; on D A Y S, she draws
from all those influences and more to craft something distinctly her own.
